Cooking as Experimentation

I decided to bake this butternut squash, and just looked up some recipes in my Epicurious app to get the temp and time to put in the oven.

I decided to mess around with what I put on the inside (after topping the cut squash with olive oil). I think I had chopped garlic, chopped mushroom, some dried parsely, fresh cilantro (cause it was in the fridge), some orange peel seasoning.

Well, I gotta tell you it was awful! Definitely needed some salt, and also I did not cook it quite long enough (it was sizzling and I thought it was done).

Yecchh, many experiments go bad!
