10 Remixes You Need to Hear Right Now

Everyone knows that the music industry has changed in the internet age. From the way artists are discovered by labels through YouTube or Vine to the way little known music explodes over Spotify, music and the internet go together hand in hand. One of my favorite new developments, one that doesn’t get as much discussion as Spotify, is SoundCloud. SoundCloud has become the best place on the internet to share, discover and listen to remixes, covers and collaborations that don’t fall under one convenient artist. Think about it, how annoying is it when you want to find a remix and can’t find it either under the artist of the original song or the artist that did the remix?

One genre that succeeds brilliantly on SoundCloud is EDM or Dubstep or whatever you want to call it. With the tools to make electronic music becoming more and more accessible, there are hundreds of talented producers imagining and creating great remixes and reworks of popular song.

On that note, here are 10 Trap/Electronic/Bounce songs you need to hear right now:

Naughty Boy ft. Sam Smith – La La La (White Panda X Gazzo Remix)

What So Not – High You Are (Branchez Remix)

Flux Pavillion – Freeway (Kill The Noise Remix)

Calvin Harris – Summer (Club Killers Festival Trap Remix)

Lana Del Rey – Young and Beautiful (Sound Remedy Remix)

Nicky Da B – Express Yourself (ft. Diplo)

Grizzly Bear – Will Calls (Diplo Remix)

Disclosure – You and Me (Flume Remix)

Lorde – Tennis Court (Flume Remix)

Above and Beyond – Love Is Not Enough (Slander Remix)
