I Believe… To Keep Me Going

I believe in believing in something to keep fighting – to fight for each day, each laugh, and each tear. I believe that good things come to those who hustle, but luck has a instrumental part in some outcomes. Different beliefs fill the world with love, hate, and everything in between, but for some reason, each new day continues to present itself to humanity. Whether it’s a love story, a greater power, or that ice cream is a completely acceptable dinner, believe in something.

I believe…

Dessert can be consumed at anytime of the day

Wearing white after Labor Day should never be questioned

Flowers are still one of the most romantic gifts

Pumpkin Spice Lattes are worth cherishing, no matter how “basic” they are- They’re fucking good

Being a Basic Bitch is just fine

In second chances…

Your best girlfriends really are your soul mates

Guys are so simple they’re complex

In having faith when you’ve done all that you can do

Things happen for a reason, but I don’t always know the reason immediately

In smiling when all that is left in you are tears

Crying liberates you and just necessary

Laughter is the best remedy for anything

Aging truly is a privilege

Guy friends or bros are wonderful, but girlfriends keep you sane

College formed some of the most important relationships of my life

In a greater power

In love and that you just want to be with someone who makes you laugh

In a place beyond the clouds

Someone will stimulate my mind and body

Passion is necessary for any intimate relationship

Feeling your emotions deeply and purely

Writing entertains my demons, instead of releasing them- I like it that way.

I believe that life is beautiful and that’s what keeps me going.
