Give Back this Holiday Season by Supporting FRANK Water Projects

As we gear up for this holiday season, it is important to remember that embodying the holiday spirit means more than just buying some fancy gifts for your loved ones. In 2017, a year which has seen a disproportionate number of global tragedies, it is perhaps more important than ever to try to help those who are less fortunate. While many charitable efforts this year have focused on areas devastated by hurricanes, like Puerto Rico and Houston, today we’re bringing your attention to a pervasive, ubiquitous issue in India.

Approximately 76 MILLION Indians do not have access to safe, clean drinking water, an issue which FRANK Water Projects is doing its best to remedy. FRANK Water Projects is a charity focused on providing drinking water for these communities. Since 2005, FRANK has been able to provide clean water to over 300,000 people who previously lacked access to this resource we all take for granted.

To learn more about FRANK Water Projects and consider making a donation, you can click here.

If you don’t have the means to make a donation, however, there is another option. FRANK has partnered with MAHI Leather a company specializing in fine leather luggage, including duffel bags, backpacks, handbags, and more. MAHI is named for the Mahi River in India – a river that holds great sacred, spiritual significance to the citizens of India. The company has pledged to donate $1.50 of every sale to FRANK in order to help save lives and clean drinking water. For every $1.50 raised, water quality can be tested for a community of 250 people. Indeed, every dollar can go a long way toward remedying a problem that kills upwards of 140,000 children in India every single year.

Whether through donations or your shopping choices this holiday season, it is important to think of how you can help those in need. Please consider donating to great charities like FRANK, or using your choices as a consumer to support companies like MAHI that are doing their part to give back to our world.
