The Super Bowl is over and now the NFL offseason begins. On Friday of last week, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell spent close to an hour addressing the media in Phoenix, AZ. The commissioner began Friday’s press conference with what resembled a State of the Union type speech before he went on to take questions from the media. 5 Dudes In Entertainment You Should Listen To

Adam Carolla The Ace Man is the most practical person I’ve ever heard speak. Adam is a broadcaster, comedian, father, husband, and life veteran. He is a champion for extreme common sense. If you haven’t seen his movie, The Hammer, check it out. I got into him when he did Love Line back in the day with Dr. Drew and if you didn’t know, they do a new podcast together called The Adam and Dr. Drew Show… basically Love Line Part 2 but better because it’s more of their opinionsRead More

End of the Big 3 Era?

The San Antonio Spurs are giving Miami a reality check this year. They ran away with game 3 of the NBA Finals and did it again in game 4 to go up 3-1 heading back to San Antonio. After back-to-back NBA championships, it appears the Big 3 are human after all. Miami, with the combination of LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh, won 2 straight titles. A win this year would make it a 3-peat, but it seems out of reach. The Spurs “big 3” …or 4 or 5Read More

Silicon Valley Season One Review

HBO’s Silicon Valley ended it’s debut season with the episode, “Optimal Tip-To-Tip Efficiency.” The guys at Pied Piper started the season with a simple algorithm for a compression company. What any of that means, not even main character Richard Hendricks knew until the very end of the season, and even then he changed the whole face of the company in the show’s final moments. Along the way, he had the help of a hilarious group of techies all incubating under the roof of Aviato founder, Erlich Bachman. Hats off to comedian TJRead More

Bubba Watson slid on that retro looking green jacket for the 2nd time in 3 years this Sunday at Augusta. The two-time Masters winner walked off the 18th green with the first major win of the season. There were tears. There was his baby boy Caleb, whom Bubba and his wife, Angie, had adopted just prior to his Masters win in 2012. There was a genuine good guy coming off four quality rounds of golf. Bubba Watson is known as one of the longest drivers on the PGA Tour. HeRead More
