More often than not, I’m also a big fan of the gorgeous women who appear on the show with well-documented frequency. The latest addition to Game of Thrones beautiful lady list is Ania Bukstein, a Russian-born, Israeli-raised

While most fans have praised the characters that did and did not return this season (no spoilers here, boys and girls), there is one actress who has been sorely missing – Rosie Mac. “Who?” you ask? Well, technically Rosie Mac isn’t a

The Leftovers, which just finished wrapping up its second season, is massively critically-acclaimed, but hasn’t caught on with a large audience yet. Nonetheless, HBO thankfully renewed the show for a third and final season. I love The Leftovers, and I can’t recommend this fantastic show enough. However, if you need even more incentive to start this excellent series, Margaret Qualley could be your

Guilty. But in addition to HBO offering some of the finest television programs around, the network also does a great job of casting beautiful women to appear in those TV shows. Case in point: True Detective. Last season, we featured beauties like Alexandra Daddario and Lili Simmons in this space. Now, with Season Two here, we were introduced to another gorgeous girl in the

You love Game of Thrones. I love Game of Thrones. We all love Game of Thrones. The show is arguably the best show ever created, in the eyes of critics and fans alike, and the popularity of the HBO fantasy drama only continues to grow, even as Season 5 has been kind of S…L…O…W. One undeniable thing about Game of Thrones, however, is that part of the reason we love it is due to how incredibly f*cked up so many of the characters are. While some of the Westerosi players

1) “The Leftovers” on HBO This creepy drama of 2% of the population up and **poofing** is a must for any TV-Lover’s list. That is if you don’t end up getting crazy nightmares of old ladies dressed in all white smoking Marlboros! 2) “Ray Donovan” on Showtime Take “The Sopranos,” dress em up, move them to LA, and BOOM! You got yourself one awesome thrill ride starring a dynamite cast of thugs headed by Liev “I’m a fucking badass!” Schreiber. 3) “Tyrant” on FX
Read MoreI have fallen for a 46-year-old redhead. He’s brilliant. He’s weird. He’s Louis CK. Louis Szekely, famously known as Louis CK, is my favorite comedian to date. The multi-talented actor, writer, director, and stand-up comedian has the ability to say the most unfathomably crude joke while simultaneously proving a point. From utterly hilarious to downright depressing, he just goes there. You know, “there.” Often compared to Woody Allen, Louis makes you laugh, but moreover he makes you think. Perhaps that is why he is worth 12 million dollars today. You go, Glen Coco.

HBO’s Silicon Valley ended it’s debut season with the episode, “Optimal Tip-To-Tip Efficiency.” The guys at Pied Piper started the season with a simple algorithm for a compression company. What any of that means, not even main character Richard Hendricks knew until the very end of the season, and even then he changed the whole face of the company in the show’s final moments. Along the way, he had the help of a hilarious group of techies all incubating under the roof of Aviato founder, Erlich Bachman. Hats off to comedian TJ
Read More*Spoilers Ahead* First off, I want to say that I love Game of Thrones. I have an unhealthy obsession with the show, the books, everything. Even this episode has some good moments. Seriously, watch it. But…. let’s face it, the episode Breaker of Chains sucked because…. 1. HBO loves unnecessary nudity. Literally every episode so far has been screaming “Hey! Look at Oberyn! He likes men and women! See, he has orgies!!” Alright, we’ve seen him seducing everyone in sight now for several episodes. He’s bisexual and proud. Got it. Can we

Do you have so much free time that you don’t know what to do with yourself? Well me neither, but that’s beside the point. There’s always time for binging. I recently found out Turner Classic Movies allows you to stream online. EXCUSE ME?! Many television channels are now following the HBOGo standard—one cable subscription grants you mobile access to content. I’m not suggesting this is groundbreaking news – you’ve been illegally streaming for years. But, this is a smart move for premium and basic cable alike. If most people are

Working in production takes a toll on a human being. Long hours can mean debilitating health as well as a lack of social life (and forget dating altogether). I’ve come to know these pratfalls all too well during my stint as a freelance production sound mixer, yet the most ironic things I’ve missed out the most on are current film and television releases. You’d think that being as entrenched as I am in the creation of new content (be sure to check out the UnderArmour commercial I recorded sound for

You’ve finished Breaking Bad, binged on House of Cards, and are looking for a new show to tide you over until Game of Thrones comes back. Well, look no further, because HBO’s True Detective is one of the most riveting shows to grace the airwaves. Set primarily in 1995, the show is a gritty take on the pulp neo-noir genre twisted with elements of supernatural horror, and trades the urban decay of New York or Los Angeles, for an eerie look at the backwater depravity of 1995 Louisiana. The show

Friends and family are always telling me to slow down and take a breath. Truth is, I tried and continue to try. But sometimes it’s completely alright to just lose it, throw the bird, pass on a double yellow, or skip your iPhone across a lake. For instance… 8. Drivers going well under the speed limit on a single lane road When you are in

The world we live in is a hectic and fast paced one. If you slow down you get left behind. It can be easy to lose focus in this chaotic landscape of technology and politics. But with today being Valentine’s Day, it’s important to think back to a simpler time; the laughter, tears, and countless hours you shared with your first love: Netflix. Do you remember the first time you met Netflix? Of course you do; it was young and ambitious, and was what all of your friends had been
